Burrozil Burrozil produces apples, coffee, and drugs.
Coffee plantations can become a valuable asset, but they require resources you'll have to buy from other players and are generally less profitable than apple orchards.
Mechanized orchards likewise consume resources you do not currently have, and are less cost effective than basic orchards at this stage.
Drug Farms SHOULD BE AVOIDED. They will attract the wrath of the Solar Empire and New Lunar Republic. If you are reading this guide, you are not yet ready to deal with them.
Make two Basic Apple Orchards for now, then return to your overview.
Your cash on hand has been reduced as expected. You'll also notice that your satisfaction is now decreasing by 4 per tick, and a bit further down you'll have a new line on your resources table. Apples are now being harvested at a rate of 10 per tick.
You'll have to wait for your first harvest to come in before doing much more, so now would be a good time to start looking at other parts of the game.

Go to Capitalism → Resource Marketplace and take a look at the current state of the market.
This marketplace is where players may post a resource they're looking to sell for cash. Prices fluctuate heavily depending on what's happening in the game, and there is no guarantee that certain resources will be affordable, or even available.
Your primary concern is, of course, apples. If current market conditions are favorable, you should have no difficulty selling your harvest.
Next, go to Capitalism → Buyer's Resource Marketplace. Here, players may post cash to offer to purchase a resource. Prices here are generally worse, but it can be a useful tool if you need money quickly.
Keep in mind that all listings on both marketplaces are subject to taxes. You receive 10% less than your listed selling price and pay 10% more than the listed asking price.
Finally, some players eschew the marketplace entirely and rely on barter. If market conditions aren't in your favor, it might be worth contacting players who are likely to need apples and trying to negotiate trades more directly.

Once you've got a feel for the market, go to Alliance → Alliances to see all formal alliances.
Keep in mind that this likely isn't the whole picture. Players may have made private agreements that won't be displayed here. Don't assume that every diplomatic agreement is visible.
Take a moment to read through the alliances and figure out what they stand for. You can click on an alliance's name to go to their overview page and find a list of its members and a brief description of its goals.
If you have questions for alliance leaders or members, click their name on the alliance overview page to be directed to the user's overview page. Individual users often have descriptions and flags that could give you more insight.
You'll also find the game's Private Message system is accessible from their overview, facilitating direct communication. You can also go to the Messages tab on the navigation bar and write in their username if you'd prefer.
Direct messages are often the best way to learn about the current state of the game.
Take some time to understand the different alliances in the game and join whichever one feels like a good fit.
If none of them appeal to you, you can make your own or play without a formal alliance. Just remember that there is strength in unity.

From here the guide is assuming you are trading your apples for cash or other resources. Since prices vary so much, it is up to you to figure out what price to ask.
Your goal now should be to address the slowly decreasing satisfaction. As a Burrozilian, you CAN address this immediately with Nation → Minor Actions → Distribute Apples for an immediate satisfaction boost.
If you're getting dangerously close to -100, don't hesitate to do this. However, it is much less cost-effective than other solutions, and should only be used in case of emergencies.

Ideally you would get a Bakery instead. Check the Resource Conversion block to see the price. Unlike your orchards, this costs Vehicle Parts, Machine Parts, and Energy.
Vehicle Parts and Machine Parts are manufactured by Przewalskians using Copper from Zebricans and Oil from Saddle Arabians.
With so much going into their production, they're likely to be more expensive than Apples, and might be scarce in the early stages of the game.
Energy is made by burning Oil. The Resource Conversion block has the long-term solution, the Oil Combustion Facility, but it's excessive for your current needs and quite expensive.
You should buy it later, once your energy demand is higher.
For now, go to the Actions block, and find Burn Oil. Each use consumes 5 Oil and also costs 5 Satisfaction. You'll need to do this at least twice, once to generate the Energy to make the Bakery, and once to provide Energy to operate it.
Once your bakery has been built, go back to your Overview. You'll see that satisfaction per tick has increased one, and that you're now producing 3 Pies per tick at the cost of 2 apples and 1 energy.
The bakery will quietly keep working, making pies and slightly improving satisfaction as long as it has the apples and energy to run.

Resources are ALWAYS consumed before they're produced, so if you do not have enough apples on hand when the game clock hits 0, the Bakery WILL NOT produce ANYTHING for that tick.
Always ensure your current stockpiles are high enough to cover all of your building's upkeep. As your economy becomes better developed and more complex, you'll need to keep larger and more varied stockpiles, and the damage caused by exhausting those stockpiles will become increasingly severe.

Now that you have your Bakery, you can distribute the Pies it makes the same way as you distribute Apples, but for a much greater effect. You might also be able to sell them to desperate players, but the market for Pies tends to be weak since everybody can make them domestically.
Continue to sell your Apples, burning Oil as needed to keep your bakery working until you can afford a more permanent solution.
You're currently spending 12 Oil per day. If it is not abundant on the market, or if it's prohibitively expensive, it might be a good idea to make an agreement with a Saddle Arabian.
Players who rely on barter are often looking to make recurring deals so they can better plan their economy, and when Oil is difficult to secure this might be a good idea.
However, verbal agreements are NOT enforced by the game, and fraud is explicitly permitted by the game's rules. Further, even an honest player might cancel an agreement without warning.
Be cautious with your dealings, and if you find a good trade partner, do what you can to keep them.

Now that you're producing Pies, your satisfaction will trend upward as long as you keep distributing them. You can safely build another Basic Apple Orchard to increase your productivity.
Your next goal is to build another Satisfaction building. The Bakery, while vastly superior to distributing Apples, is still a stop-gap rather than a solution. There are two possible solutions for your next step. You can either make Cider and open a Bar, or make a Coffee Farm and open a Coffee Bar.
This guide assumes you are making Cider and a Bar since it costs fewer Parts from Przewalskian players. However, if they happen to be cheap, Coffee might be a better solution.

A Bar requires Cider. Cider comes from a Cider Production Facility, which also takes energy. Unlike Pies, you cannot distribute Cider, and you need a building to convert it into Satisfaction. The most affordable building that can do that is the Bar.
Bars exclusively produce Satisfaction, but they're much more cost effective than your bakery. When you have the resources to make both, do so.
Ideally you will make the Cider facility 1 tick before the Bar since the Bar would otherwise lack the Cider needed to operate.
Once that's done, go back to Overview. Notice that your satisfaction per tick is now positive, and you're stable even if you never distribute anything again.
The distribute actions can be useful as a lifeline or to rush production out, but you can survive without ever distributing again.
Don't demolish your Bakery though, the Bar needs Pies, and you'll need more Bars.

The Overview is a bit deceptive at this point. It doesn't know that you're manually Burning Oil, and you consume 2 energy per tick. Even though the game claims you have +5 Satisfaction per tick, it's effectively +3.
Be mindful that any non-automated action won't be accurately represented on your overview. This will become less significant as you get better established.
You can safely make another orchard immediately, or three if you continue to distribute your excess Pies. Remember to always keep one per bar so that they actually work!

Now that you've got your bar, keep expanding, trading, and negotiating. Keep your populace satisfied, the Solar Empire and New Lunar Republic uninterested, and your stockpiles full.
